Nowadays in London, it's possible to get a Sunday roast for about £10-12, some pubs are even doing 2 meals for £5, though attempting these is unwise. (Question: what kinda quality meat can be bought in London for £2.50 and still reap a profit? Answer: The super shit kind)

The Paradise menu changes daily, based around fresh, locally sourced (i.e. tummy tingling delicious) ingredients.

Sunday lunch at the Paradise Bar is admittedly a tad more expensive than standard pubs; Roast Pork Belly (with a tart and chunky apple sauce) was £13.50 last weekend, Beef was £14.50, accompanied by all the trimmings. Last week's offerings including a billowing Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, baby-ish carrots, roast parsnips and potatoes. Freshly squeezed juices available for those seeking the full restorative treatment. Carrot, apple and ginger is brilliant.

My faith in London food was restored, and when I realised that
Pierre Koffman (a man who's food I can only dream of eating) rates it too, my faith in myself was affirmed. Probably the first restaurant in Europe that I thought, "I wish I could eat here EVERY DAY"!!!
