Nowadays in London, it's possible to get a Sunday roast for about £10-12, some pubs are even doing 2 meals for £5, though attempting these is unwise. (Question: what kinda quality meat can be bought in London for £2.50 and still reap a profit? Answer: The super shit kind)
The Paradise menu changes daily, based around fresh, locally sourced (i.e. tummy tingling delicious) ingredients.
Sunday lunch at the Paradise Bar is admittedly a tad more expensive than standard pubs; Roast Pork Belly (with a tart and chunky apple sauce) was £13.50 last weekend, Beef was £14.50, accompanied by all the trimmings. Last week's offerings including a billowing Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, baby-ish carrots, roast parsnips and potatoes. Freshly squeezed juices available for those seeking the full restorative treatment. Carrot, apple and ginger is brilliant.
