Although the pattern is admittedly abstract, it's super cute. This stitch is a great way to practice double crochet and cluster stitches, and very satisfying and it works up quickly.

I used worsted weight #4 yarn and a 3.5 hook, may even try 3 hook next time for better definition. Added a half double crochet border to neaten up at the end.
